We talked about some creative Sweetest Day gestures in a previous blog post, but what if you wanted to have a date during the day or night?
As much as we all love dinner and a movie, sometimes it’s fun to switch up your dating routine. With Sweetest Day coming up, it’s the perfect time to plan something a little more fun. Why not try these ideas (courtesy of The Nest…thanks for the tips!):
Volunteer together. Giving back is not only a worthwhile use of your time, but it’s a great way for the two of you to bond as a couple. Whether it’s volunteering at a homeless shelter or participating in a breast cancer awareness walk, you’ll be doing it together.
Take a cooking class. You’ll be able to prepare a breakfast, lunch or dinner together and then enjoy it. It’ll truly be cooked with love, and there are bound to be a few laughs along the way.
Go on an impromptu road trip! Pack the car with your favorite snacks, build a playlist, pick a destination and start driving. Map a few pit stops along the way, or make a day trip out of it. Regardless, you’ll be doing something new and exciting and exploring a new place.
